The Dumb Waiter is a one-act play written by British playwright Harold Pinter in 1957.
It follows two hitmen, Gus and Ben, as they wait in a basement room for their next assignment. As tension builds and strange messages begin to arrive via a dumb waiter (a small service elevator), the line between reality and absurdity begins to blur.
